So what is Trowell Junction?

Trowell Junction is actually a location on the Midland Mainline between Ilkeston and Toton, the Junction has a very convieniently located footbridge where you will often find people taking photos. The bridge is also situated on a handy footpath which makes it easy to access, apart from when it’s a little muddy.

Who are we?

Well actually we’re just 3 lads, Mark, Marc & Charlie, who have a huge interest in Railways and happened to meet at Trowell Junction. We also have an interest in heritage railways and also in Model Railways.

Why a Blog?

Quite simply to give us chance showcase some of our pictures as well as share some of our railway adventures, as well as Trowell Junction you will also find us out and about at various other locations such as Tamworth, Nuneaton, Peterborough and York. We thought bringing all of our images and sharing our passion for railways would be a bit of fun.
